Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospices

Naomi House & Jacksplace provides expert hospice care to more than 525 life limited and life threatened children, young adults and their extended families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight.

Save the Children

In over 100 countries including the UK, Save the Children helps children stay safe, healthy and learning. Their work focuses on tackling big problems like pneumonia, hunger and protecting children in war, while ensuring each child's unique needs are cared for.

The Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child

Every year, Samaritan’s Purse collects shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. Since 1990, more than 178 million children in more than 150 countries have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.

TrashCafeNetwork – The Real Junk Food Project

The Trash Café Network is part of The Real Junk Food Project, an environmental organisation committed to tackling food waste. They collect ‘food waste’ that is still fit for human consumption from various places and offer it on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis in their cafes and shopping boutiques.

Canine Partners

Canine Partners is a registered charity that transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with assistance dogs. They receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from the public and legacies to carry out their life-transforming work.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families with children in hospital. Their 11 Houses across the UK give families a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax, just moments away from their child’s hospital ward.

StrongMen is a local charity whose aim is to help men tackle the mental, emotional and physical health conditions brought about by bereavement. They offer weekend retreats and phone-based peer support services for bereaved men.

The Beau Halo Trust

The Beau Halo Trust provides emotional, practical and financial support to bereaved parents. The Trust also raises public awareness of the impact that child loss can have on parents, families and others.

Southampton Hospital Charity

The Ocean Ward in Southampton General Hospital cares for infants, children, and young people eighteen years or under who are battling heart or lung problems. They also offer patients’ families with accommodation and support.

RSPCA Stubbington Ark

The RSPCA Stubbington Ark is a local animal shelter situated on a 9-acre farm. They take in over 6000 animals a year, as well as rehabilitating local wildlife. Their work involves responding to over 145 calls a day and a tireless commitment to animal welfare and pet ownership education.

Founded in 1946 as the National Association for Mental Health, Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf.

Ronald McDonald House Glasgow

Since 1996 they've given families a safe base next to the hospital, allowing parents to remain close to their child during difficult medical treatments. With 31 bedrooms, a large kitchen and laundry facilities, families can eat, sleep and focus on the most important thing – the health of their child.
