Silver Lining support Orega's Paul Finch on his 500km cycle

onemorechildSilver Lining is super excited about supporting Orega’s business partner Paul Finch as he undertakes a 500 Kilometer long cycle ride over 4 days in Italy. Paul is cycling in aid of raising money to support the Ugandan based charity 1moreChild. 1moreChild is a small charity dedicated to providing food, medical supplies, education and homes to children who live in the slum village of Masese. Orega feel that 1moreChild is a truly fantastic cause and 100% of all money raised goes straight to the children.

Although Paul isn’t by any means a cyclist, in fact the last time he cycled was when he was 11 years old - apart from being taken out a few times over the last few weeks to make sure he can stay up straight (on a bicycle he bought 8 weeks ago) we are confident he will complete the 500 kilometers.

Paul Finch explains “I am essentially new to cycling... I’m hoping to get a little sponsorship from a greater number of my friends and colleagues than my fellow Orega cycle team members (as I can’t beat them at cycling…) so even just the very smallest donation would be greatly appreciated. I will do my very best to finish the trip and think of all your kind support to keep me going I’m told it’s all in the mind...Wish me luck!”

Paul finch continues “PS I know where every penny of the sponsorship goes, you would be very proud of what’s achieved with just the smallest amount, happy to discuss or put you in direct contact with the charity owner in Uganda.”

Last year my business partner Zach completed an impressive 390 mile cycle from Geneva to Milan in a fundraising effort for 1moreChild. This year Paul will be joining Zach on a rather exciting yet somewhat daunting challenge of cycling 390 miles from Milan to Rome.

Alongside gaining sponsorship for Paul’s ride, Orega are looking to spread the word via news posts and social media.
