Silver Lining shortlisted for The News Business Excellence Awards
Silver Lining Convergence, IT and telecommunications specialist, has been shortlisted in The News’ Business Excellence Awards 2015. Our latest PCI compliance solution and work with local charities has enabled us to be recognised the following awards:
- Innovation of the Year
- Small/Medium Business of the Year
- Community Contribution of the Year.
We are proud to be a part of the News Business Excellence Awards, which provides a platform to recognise reward and celebrate all the successful businesses and professional individuals in the Portsmouth area.
Silver Lining Convergence Managing Director, Allan Packer, commented: “This is valuable recognition of all the hard work we have put in over the past few years. We are aware that the telecoms and data market has seen a huge decline in revenues and as a result we knew our business needed to evolve and diversify in order to maintain growth and security. Over the last 2 years, we have seen our business re-shape away from a commodities reseller and into a company that creates our own products through innovation, a deliverer of professional & managed services and a shift from a mainly telecoms focus business to becoming a provider of both telecommunications, cloud and IT services.”
The nomination follows a number of Award successes for Silver Lining Convergence including our recent request to become the British Hospitality Associations preferred supplier for IT and telecommunications.
The awards now in its fifteenth year, is looking for businesses who can prove business achievement and excellence in their field. The winners will be announced at a black tie dinner at Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 6th March.
